Hello all Ozians!
Wow, what an incredible tech week and opening weekend! Suzy and I are so proud of each one of you, and we are so impressed with all of your hard work!
I just have a couple of quick notes for everyone below regarding scripts, pictures, and call times.
Everyone with a vocal book and/or script:Vocal books and scripts are due Saturday night (at the latest Sunday). Please make sure to erase all pencil marks you may have made BEFORE you return them. Please get them to me as soon as possible so I can check them in.
Everyone - Call Times for Friday and Saturday5:30 pm - Dorothy, Witch, Scarecrow, Tinman, Lion, Glinda, Wizard
5:50 pm - Em, Henry, Mayor, Barrister, City Fathers, Coroner, Tree 3, Schoolteachers
6:00 pm - All called
6:15 pm - Everyone in costume with makeup sitting in the house for notes. (Please arrive earlier than this time so that you are ready by 6:15. See below for information about pictures.)
Everyone - PicturesWe will be taking pictures on both Friday and Saturday after notes. Parents, please arrive at 6:15 if you are interested, and then as soon as notes are finished we will take pictures. Suzy will set the kids in a pose, and then she will give time for pictures before she sets another pose onstage. The house must be clear by 7:00.
In order to take pictures, on Friday after notes, all kids should be in their Munchkinland costumes. We will be taking pictures of all the munchkins with both Dorothy and Glinda onstage. We will then take a full cast picture with the set, so please dress in Act 1 costumes.
On Saturday, everyone should dress in Emerald city costumes (hair and makeup is optional). We will take pictures with Dorothy in Emerald City, and then we will take another full cast picture.
(Lion, Scarecrow, Tinman, and Witch do not have to have all of their Oz stuff on unless they would like. Tom, Maggie, and Cody can do any of their costumes.)

Tech Week Call Times and Announcements
Hey Everyone!
Welcome to tech week!!! We have worked so hard in rehearsals these past 6 weeks, and we are so excited to start putting all of the tech components together!
***We are still looking for more moms and dads help wrangle kids backstage - for opening night, we still need 3 more moms or dads. If you are available, please email patkopicki@gmail.com

Costumes
All costume pieces are due on Monday.
Hair and Makeup - Everyone needs to bring in a pack of makeup remover wipes
Please have hair and makeup done as much as possible before you arrive. You may touch-up everything once you get here, but it should be mostly done. You may NOT touch-up hair and makeup after you have a microphone on.
Dressing Room Assignments
Pfeiffer 5 - Rykie and Lindstrum Family (Only people allowed in there.)
Pfeiffer conference room (corner room) - Melanie, Alex, Jen, Patti, Heidi, Maggie D
Pfeiffer conference room - Chris Sr, Chris Jr, Stuart, Cody, Derek, Tom
Large downstairs dressing room - Adult Chorus Women
Small downstairs dressing room - Adult Chorus Men
Pfeiffer 25 (Upstairs) - Munchkin Girls
Pfeiffer 36 (Upstairs) - Munchkin Boys

There seemed to be some confusion with the rehearsal schedule this week, so hopefully this clarifies everything : ) Also, for all munchkins, there is a note from the costume designer under Wednesday. Please see below.

7-10 pm: All principles, adult chorus members, and munchkins with a speaking or singing line are called (The only people not called are any munchkins without a line.)
***The costume designer would like all the munchkins to stop by this rehearsal at the beginning to try on costumes. Everyone is needed except the Lullaby League, Mayor, Coroner, Carter O, and Ben G. After you try on your costume, you are free to leave if you are not called on the rehearsal schedule. Thanks!***

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! Just as a reminder, t-shirt money is due Tuesday. Since our dance captain Chelsea will be gone this week, please give your t-shirt money to Franny, our ASM, during rehearsal.
Also, we are still looking for kid wranglers to help out backstage during the show, especially for the 2nd weekend of performances. If you are interested, please email Pat Kopicki at patkopicki@gmail.com. We will need as many moms or dads as we can get!

Off-Book Dates
Hello Ozians!
Below you will find the dates for being off-book. This means that all lines, blocking, and songs must be memorized by these dates. After these dates, you will not be allowed to use your script or music onstage. For the principal roles, after these dates, I will be writing and giving you line notes if your lines are not accurate. Please try to be as accurate as possible when memorizing your lines - we try to avoid paraphrasing as much as possible.
